On arrival in the Ourika Valley, make a stop at a traditional Berber home. They show you how to make traditional mint tea and enjoy it with some traditional treats from this region. After tea follows the winding river flowing between rocky crags, which in turn are straddled with wooden swing bridges for accessing the multitude of tagine stands and restaurants to arrive at the settlement of Setti Fatmia where you meet with your private local professional hiking guide for an approx 1hr 30mins trek to view the seven waterfalls.
On your descent enjoy lunch in one of the many river cafes with tables located in the shallow river bed to cool your feet before departing to climb by 4×4 from 4,922 ft to 6,550 ft arriving at the mountain ski resort village of Oukaimeden and Berber villages of Sidi Far, offering memorable panoramic High Atlas Mountain views and optional viewing of pre-historic rock carvings.
